Hiring always carries some risk. If a candidate placed through OTB leaves or the placement doesn't work out within the first 90 days, we'll conduct one replacement search at no additional recruitment fee, subject to our recruitment terms.

Questions about building an offshore team?

Is OTB a BPO?

No. OTB Global Talent is designed as a recruitment and workforce-support service rather than a traditional outsourced staffing model. Our goal is to help you build a team that works directly with your business.

Do you add a markup to the employee's salary?

Our standard recruitment model does not apply an ongoing percentage markup to the employee's salary. If you choose Managed Employment, the support fee is charged separately so you have greater visibility over your costs.

Can I hire the team member directly?

Depending on your preferred structure, yes. Businesses that already have an appropriate arrangement for engaging Philippine-based workers can use OTB for recruitment only.

Can OTB manage employment for us?

OTB can discuss Managed Employment options based on your required structure, employee location and applicable Philippine employment requirements. The appropriate arrangement will be confirmed before onboarding.

How quickly can you find someone?

Recruitment timelines depend on the role, experience requirements, salary expectations and candidate availability. We prioritise finding the right person rather than rushing to send large volumes of unsuitable applicants.

Can candidates work Australian business hours?

Yes. Australian working hours can be included in the role requirements and confirmed with candidates before they are shortlisted.

Who manages the employee day to day?

You do. Your team member works with your business, systems and team. OTB can support recruitment and employment administration, while your business remains responsible for role direction and day-to-day management unless otherwise agreed.

Can OTB help us hire more than one person?

Yes. OTB can assist with one hire or help you gradually build a larger offshore team. Volume pricing may be available for businesses hiring multiple employees.

What happens if our new hire doesn't work out?

Eligible placements include a 90-day replacement guarantee, subject to OTB's recruitment terms.
